The new Bugatti Divo will make its debut at the Concours d’Elegance in Monterey, California, on August 24, US time.

From what we can see, the Divo will have its own uniquely-styled body, even though it will be based on the platform and running gear of the Chiron. Changes seemingly include a new glasshouse design, large rear wings, and puffed up wheel arches.

Thanks to earlier teasers, we already know the Divo will feature OLED tail-lights with a strong three-dimensional flavour, and the French tri-colour flag on some of its carbon-fibre aero pieces.

When the company first announced the Divo, it said the new car would be made for corners, have more “agile, nimble handling”, and generate more downforce than the Chiron.

No word on yet on whether the company will alter the 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 engine for the Divo. In the Chiron and Chiron Sport, the 16-cylinder motor develops 1103kW of power and 1600Nm of torque.

Just 40 Divo hypercars will be built, with pricing to start from €5 million ($7.9 million).
